Comedy (stand-up)
Iain Stirling – Onwards!
Scotland’s very own ‘Tam Fatale‘, Iain Stirling, is reluctantly growing up in to his late twenties with a string (or is that a noose?) of TV vox pop-tart show credits including co-voice-over to ITV2’s hit, the prole-predatory, Love Island.
Edinburgh’s BAFTA award winning and triple BAFTA nominated comedian Stirling returns to the Fringe following four consecutive sell-out show runs. (That could alternatively be read as him selling out the punters by just running away – four times! Alternative comedy, eh?) Looking at the generational pressures we face today, Iain will shed an “intriguing twenty something perspective on the current state of his nation” (Guardian Guide) in his fifth stand-up show Onwards!
Other television credits include Drunk History (Comedy Central), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Fake Reaction and Safe Word (ITV2), Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC Three) and hosting his own Scottish BAFTA winning (best childrens’ show) panel show The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC).
