Two men have been charged in connection with housebreakings in East Lothian and the Scottish Borders.

On Wednesday 13th April a home in Gullane was broken into during which two vehicles were stolen.

The following day a second housebreaking occurred at a property in Peebles where another vehicle was taken.

Two vehicles have been recovered and inquiries are ongoing to trace the third.

However, the men aged 17 and 23 have now been arrested.

The pair has also been charged with an attempted housebreaking at another address in Peebles on Thursday 14th April and will appear in court at a later date
