It occupies a lively corner in Leith and has all the stage setting of a quirky city café.
The coffee is good, adorned with not one but two hearts, and their Facebook page attests to their barista’s skill at producing even more than that. (ask for a swan……!)
It is a really nice space with all of its 70s paraphernalia, but there is something missing. And that missing attribute is really good service.
You always know that when you have to go and look for the server that service is not their best feature. That said, it would not take very much for this place to become a regular haunt on the brunch trail.
Just a little more effort in cleaning up when people leave, and attending to customers who are still there might go a long way to ensuring that this lovely little cafe entices us back.
