The National Museum of Scotland has been nominated for two awards at the 2015 UK Event Awards. The nominations came in the categories Large Venue of the Year and Unusual Venue of the Year.
The only Scottish nominee in the Unusual Venue of the Year category, the National Museum’s place on both shortlists recognises the venue’s capacity for spectacular events on every scale.
From lavish film premieres and awards ceremonies to weddings and intimate dinners for royalty, the National Museum of Scotland hosts over 170 private hire events each year. In the surrounds of Scotland’s national collections, guests are transported through time – from the birth of the solar system, through millennia of Scottish history to the technology of the future – all while receiving five star service in the centre of Scotland’s capital city.
Now in their fourth year, the UK Event Awards honour the very best in the UK’s events industries. Open to outstanding event organisers, suppliers and marketers, this year’s winners will be announced at a glamourous ceremony in London in December.
