Cyclists are revving up for Pedal for Scotland 2015.

Around 7,000 people on bikes will pass through Edinburgh on Sunday 6 September as part of Scotland’s largest mass participation bike event, Pedal for Scotland, which starts at Glasgow Green and finishes at Murrayfield Stadium. Roads in the Edinburgh area will be closed between approximately 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Go and see the uplifting Soweto Spiritual Singers & Soweto Afro Pop Opera who are currently performing two Shows in Edinburgh.

The African Dream is on at C venues at 2:30pm and The Return is on at Assembly Rooms,6:05pm, as they are returning to Edinburgh after a successful run last year.

Soweto Spiritual Singers recorded, collaborated and performed at the Historic Opening of 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in South Africa with R.Kelly.

They performed for former President Nelson Mandela on the first live stream by
Sony for his birthday, when they sang his favourite song “Something inside
so Strong”.

Tomorrow evening there is a debate which forms part of the Just Festival taking place in Edinburgh, and local MP Tommy Sheppard will be speaking about Equality and Human Rights in Scotland.
