A 79-year-old cyclist who was involved in a collision with a lorry in West Lothian last week has died.

The man passed away in hospital last night (Sunday, July 15) as a result of injuries he sustained in the collision, which happened on the B9080 Linlithgow to Kirkliston Road near Winchburgh Bing, around 10.30am on Thursday (July 11).

Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision, and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Police Scotland on 101.

The victim has not been named at this time.
