The Royal Yacht Britannia’s Wardroom is steeped in history and tradition. Here, Britannia’s top-ranked Officers would gather to dine and relax. Today, from 8 to 18 guests can experience a feast for the senses with a bespoke six-course tasting menu created by Britannia’s Executive Chef, Mark Alston, prepared in the original Royal Galley.

Her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and other Royals would also have dined in the Officers’ Wardroom, giving the room that true Royal seal. A red carpet welcome awaits as guests are piped aboard Britannia via the Royal Brow, an entrance previously reserved for Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family.

The exclusive evening also includes a private guided tour which gives an insight into how the Royal Family and crew lived and worked on board.

The Officers’ Wardroom is now available for small private parties to experience the same special evening as the top ranking Officers would have enjoyed when Britannia was in service. For the ultimate occasion, start the evening off with a drinks reception where guests can choose from the finest Krug Champagne or from Moët Hennessy’s collection of Champagnes; Moët and Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart or Dom Perignon. Our Head Sommelier will help to select perfect wines to complement each course.

Head of Hospitality and Events at The Royal Yacht Britannia, Andrew Thomson, is very proud to be offering this truly unique experience and commented:- “We are delighted that Britannia can give smaller private parties such a special evening aboard the Royal Yacht. The new Officers’ Wardroom will be a truly splendid affair for guests”.
