Dr Rowan Williams, the new Chair of Christian Aid and former Archbishop of Canterbury, launched this year’s Christian Aid Week Book Sale at St Andrew’s and St George’s West Church in George Street. The sale is now in its 40th year, having raised over £1 million in the last 10 years, and Dr Williams was paying a visit in his role as Patron of the 2013 event.
The sale runs throughout Christian Aid Week, from 10am on Saturday 11th May until Friday 17th May (excluding Sunday 12th).
