Sir Chris Hoy came to Edinburgh today to announce his retirement from competitive cycling. He called a press conference at Murrayfield Stadium where he may be spending more of his time in months to come as he has a new position with Scottish Rugby, which in his words is ‘a minor role’.
The Edinburgh Reporter was at the press conference to hear what he had to say about the reason for the decision and what the future might hold for him and his wife, Sarra.
