Following the arrest of an 18-year-old man in connection with alleged robberies within a McDonald’s car park in Telford Road, Lothian and Borders Police continue to appeal for potential witnesses to come forward. During one of the incidents reported to police, a 30-year-old woman was robbed in Wester Drylaw Drive on Monday 21 January 2013 and gave chase to a male onto Wester Drylaw Place.

Various members of the public came to the woman’s aid, including two men within a white van and a man wearing a Kwik Fit uniform.

These men and anyone else who can assist with these enquiries are asked to contact police immediately.
