We received news earlier this morning about several cars being on fire this morning in the ERI car park. Here are the photos.

An appliance from Lothian and Borders Fire and Rescue Service was called out at 08.18 and the fire was brought under control within half an hour. When the fire service arrived they found three cars alight. A spokesman for LBFRS said the fire officers used breathing apparatus while dealing with the vehicles.

Lothian and Borders Police were also in attendance. They have confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances, and it appears to have been some kind of electrical fault which started the fire.
