The family and friends of Ebrahim Aryaei Nekoo, who was murdered in the West of Edinburgh over the weekend, have today paid tribute to him.
In a statement issued through Lothian and Borders Police, Mr Aryaei Nekoo’s wife Mobina Jafari said:
“Ebrahim was a warm and devoted husband who I adored and who was well liked within our close group of friends.
“Everyone who knew and cared for him is completely shocked and devastated by his death and we are all still trying to come to terms with this tragedy.
“His friends and family would like to thank the wider community for their messages of support during what has been a very difficult time for us all.
“We would all now ask that our privacy is respected while we grieve for the loss of Ebrahim.”
A 47 year-old man has been arrested and charged with the murder and will appear in Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
