Vidyo Inc, recent winners of the ‘Frost and Sullivan Global Differentiation Excellence Award’ and the ‘Wall Street Journal’s Innovation Award’ have created a strategic partnership with Edinburgh based technology company, NAC, providing next generation video conferencing to the UK.

NAC have been hard at work and have recently added to an already impressive array of wins in the Scottish legal sector with the addition of McGrigors LLP to their client list.

With Brodies, Shepherd & Wedderburn and Harper Macleod already under their belts, the recent win sees the Edinburgh-based communications company continue to make significant inroads into the fast growing market of video communications.

At a fraction of the price of traditional video conferencing costs, Vidyo delivers personal telepresence from the boardroom to an array of handheld devices, such as iPad, iPhone, Android and Galaxy Tab. With another bleak winter predicted this 2011/12 it seems video conferencing could be the obvious answer to the costs created by snowed-in employees and breakdowns and delays across the transport network. The attractive option of companies being able to talk ‘face to face’ with employees on their laptops or even android phones in their own home means vital work can get done and meetings do not need to be missed just because of the weather.

NAC already have a dedicated following across many sectors throughout Scotland and with the winter weather fast approaching it may be time to think of signing up.
