Kat Folan has recently started her own theatre company Moving Lights Theatre and they have their first production coming up in June at the Leith Festival.
The actors are ambitious and are staging Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, but as a play, not as a musical. If you are quick you can get discounted tickets. Apply through the Moving Light Facebook page before next Sunday.
We caught up with them at rehearsal in the function room of Chiquitos restaurant on Frederick Street. Kat works there and the restaurant has kindly allowed them to use the space. We spoke to her about the project.
