Some weighty matters on the agenda at the Development Management Sub-Committee meeting this morning at the City Chambers. , including a decision on the the future of the Fountain Brewery where an application has been made for a mixed use development of offices, houses and retail along with a care home and hotel and is recommended for approval.
The application to demolish part of the former Odeon cinema and turn it into a hotel with bar/restaurant, community facilities and artists’ studios is recommended for refusal however.
An application by BT to put up a telecommunications dish at Chesser House is recommended for approval.
