Edinburgh Rugby host Italian side Aironi at Murrayfield tonight. Tickets are priced £20 for adults, £10 for students and OAP’s and £5 for under 18s. Kick off is at 19:30.

At Gorgie City Farm FARMERS’ MARKET: “Our next [2nd] Farmers’ Market will be held on Saturday 16th April. See info below left. Come by bus if you can as our parking is very limited; we are well served by LRT and First buses and are on routes to / from the city centre.”

Sunday 17th April 2011

The Portobello Sailing Club was one of the first to launch a St Ayles Skiff, a traditional rowing boat used for inshore fishing in the old days. A second one is nearing completion and the club is planning to take it along the prom from Joppa to Bath St on Sunday 17th April at 12:00noon and then launch her in front of the sailing club. Row Porty tell us:- “We are due to get the Royal West Rowing Club to attend and present the club with one of the original Porty rowing trophies, so it can be fought over on the water in July at the Porty Regatta (30 & 31 July 2011).
