National Museum Scotland needs someone to work at the museum and at the War Museum which is situated in the Castle.
The advert is as follows:-
Working across the National Museum of Scotland and the National War Museum of Scotland, you will manage a team providing high quality customer service to visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
It is vital that you have experience of working in a museum or visitor attraction and have a strong customer focus in all that you do. You must have hands on experience of managing others and ensuring the safety and security of visitors and buildings. A sound understanding of health and safety is important together with proven planning and organising abilities. You must be skilled in to influencing others through your written and verbal communication skills.
As this role involves working evenings, weekends and public holidays on a regular basis and occasional overtime, it is important that you have a flexible approach towards work.
