Lothian and Borders Police are renewing an appeal for help in tracing the relatives of a man who died in Edinburgh at the end of June.

John Stevenson was found dead at his home in Gracemount Drive on Wednesday 30th June. There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal. The 77-year-old lived alone in Gracemount Drive for the past year and a half. Mr Stevenson was born in Glasgow in 1933, to William Stevenson and Janey Mcgregor Stevenson. His parents married in 1929 in Partick, Glasgow.

A police spokesperson said: ‘We are asking anyone who might know, or know of, Mr Stevenson and his family, to contact us as soon as possible.’
