Boroughmuir Cricket Club have marked their centenary season with promotion from Division Three of the East Leagues.
The players who clinched the promotion as league runners-up by beating Holy Cross in the concluding fixture are photographed below.
The season started strongly with six wins from the first nine fixtures and then finishing clinically with four wins from the last five games to ensure Boroughmuir’s first promotion since 2019.
Captain Sharez Khan said: “A really strong club culture, growth mindset and warm and welcoming nature has been the cornerstone of Boroughmuir over the years and the club could not have been truer to those values in its centenary year.”
