Police are appealing for information following a fatal crash in Linlithgow.
The incident happened around 12.20am on Sunday, 30 August, 2026, on Main Street and involved the driver of a grey Renault Clio and a pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and the 48-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been made aware.
Inspector Thomas Mallinson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.
“We are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this crash and trace the occupants of the car.
“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to contact police.
“In addition, anyone with dash-cam footage from around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch as this may be able to assist our investigation.”
