Tom Murray is the seniors champion at Balerno Bowling Club having taken the title for the third time in the last six years.
Murray, who has been a finalist in five of the last six years, has also been club champion three times.
He won 21-13 against Kenny Girdler. The pair were locked at 7-7 and then 11-11, but Murray then moved ahead and made sure of claiming the silverware by taking three shots at the 18th end.
It’s the first time in three seasons that Murray has won the title and the newly-crowned winner said: “It was a great game against Kenny who has had a good season.”
