Rosie Livingstone has joined Women’s Super League 2 side Ipswich Town on a permanent transfer.
Ipswich Town triggered the relevant release clause in the forward’s existing contract, initially signed in March 2025.
The exact terms of the transfer will remain undisclosed.
A graduate of the Hibs Girls Academy, Livingstone made her debut aged 15 in an Edinburgh Derby in May 2021. She scored her first career goal the next weekend, finding the net against Forfar Farmington.
After battling back from multiple injury setbacks, she played 21 league matches during our 2024/25 Scottish Women’s Premier League title-winning campaign.
Livingstone excelled throughout the 2025/26 season, earning her the Hibernian FC Women Player of the Year award as well as a PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year nomination.
On Livingstone’s departure, Hibs Women Head Coach Joelle Murray commented: “It has been a pleasure to watch Rosie’s growth and development throughout her time at the Club.
“She joined us as a young player with tremendous potential and leaves following a standout breakthrough season that showcased her quality and hard work.
“Rosie has decided the time is right to challenge herself in a new environment, and while we’ll be sorry to see her go, we wish her every success in the next chapter of her career.”
Livingstone added: “Deciding to end my time with Hibs has been the hardest decision of my career so far. This Club means so much to me and has become a family over the years.
“Playing for Hibs has been a dream come true. I just want to thank everyone – my teammates, the staff, and the fans – for everything they’ve done for me and for making me feel so loved here. I have made memories that will last a lifetime, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you!”
