Hibs will host Brøndby IF this summer in a pre-season friendly, as part of the preparations for the 2026/27 season.
In a rematch from the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League qualifier, David Gray’s men will take on the Danish side on Saturday 18 July, with a 1pm kick-off at Easter Road Stadium.
This will be the first time Hibs have met with Brøndby since the two teams were drawn against each other in the Europa League in 2016, which was Hibs reward for winning the Scottish Cup against Rangers.
Kamil Wilczek’s goal in the first minute of the match was enough to give Brøndby a 1-0 win at Easter Road, before Hibs turned in a brilliant display in Copenhagen to secure a 1-0 win on the night courtesy of a goal from current Head Coach David Gray.
The tie was taken into extra time but remained 1-1 on aggregate after 120 minutes, taking the night to a penalty shoot-out, where Hibs lost 5-3.
Now, to mark the 10-year anniversary of Hibs famous Scottish Cup triumph and the fixtures against Brøndby, the Club will contest a special pre-season friendly to recreate that fixture.

Please note, all 2026/27 Season Ticket Holders will be given a £6 discount across all ticket price classes.
Tickets are available for home supporters in the East and West Stands only for this fixture, and away fans will be located in the lower tier of our South Stand.
