Police are appealing for information following a series of break-ins and attempted break-ins to vehicles in the Roslin and Bilston areas.
Between Saturday, 31 May, and Wednesday, 3 June, a number of vehicles were targeted on Abernethy Drive, Craigathie Road, Comyn Drive, Lawson Johnston Drive and Widnell Square in Roslin. Vehicles were also broken into on Bonaille Drive, Corby Craig Avenue and Reeforts Avenue in Bilston.
Officers are treating the incidents as linked and say they are following a positive line of enquiry.
Detective Sergeant Steven Stewart said: “Our enquiries into these break-ins are ongoing and we are working to identify those responsible.
“I would ask anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the Roslin or Bilston areas, or who has CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage that could assist with enquiries, to get in touch.
“We would also encourage residents to ensure their vehicles are secured, valuables are removed and that keys are kept in a safe place out of sight away from entryways.”
