The UEFA Conference League second qualifying round draw will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland tomorrow Wednesday 17 June 2026.
These are the teams Hibs could face as David Gray’s men prepare to play back-to-back seasons in Europe for the first time since the 1976/77 season.
In 2025/26, Hibs came within minutes of achieving something no Hibs team had ever done before – UEFA Conference League group stage qualification.
Having faced FC Midtjylland and FK Partizan, Hibs lost out to Polish side Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Conference League play-off, but after a fifth-place finish in the William Hill Premiership in 2025/26, they are back for a second year running and the tenth time in the Club’s history.
There will be four rounds in UEFA Conference League qualifying, with Hibs entering in the second qualifying round.
They must win three consecutive qualifying ties to reach the 36-team league phase.
Hibs will be seeded for the second round draw, as they have a higher coefficient over the last five years than Motherwell – Scotland’s other UEFA Conference League qualifier for 2026/27.
Indeed, there are a number of rules surrounding the UEFA Conference League draw.
One is that Hibs cannot face fellow Scottish Premiership teams.

It is a wide pool of opponents from across the world that Hibs could face in the UEFA Conference League second round qualifier in July, but this will be narrowed down to a group of just five on the morning of the draw.
This has historically been based on geography, but there are no set rules around this, so it technically could be any of the opponents listed above.
