A fire has broken out at St Margaret’s flats on Restalrig South on Tuesday evening.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed to The Edinburgh Reporter that they are in attendance but “had nothing further to report”.
Police Scotland say that “Restalrig Road South is closed at the roundabout with Sleigh Drive in Edinburgh due to a fire at a property reported to police around 7.20pm on Tuesday, 9 June.
“Emergency services are in attendance and road users are advised to avoid the area.”
Lothian Buses said: “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Restalrig Road South and Lochend Avenue and are instead diverted via Sleigh Drive in both directions until further notice.”
