An Edinburgh auction house is scheduled to appear in an upcoming episode of Antiques Road Trip, having previously starred in its own show.
Thomson Roddick Callan was the subject of STV series The Edinburgh Auction House, which first aired in 2023, and featured the work of managing director Sybelle Thomson and her team.
The business is set for a return to the screen by featuring in hit BBC series Antiques Road Trip, with filming to take place at the company’s Edinburgh Auction Centre in Rosewell ahead of the Antique and Specialist Auction on 10 June and the Collectors’ Auction on 11 June.
Antiques Road Trip sees a pair of expert antique dealers travel the UK, buying items at antique shops and seeing them put up for sale at auction houses with the winner being the expert who makes the most profit over five legs. Proceeds go to Children in Need.

The Edinburgh Auction House followed Sybelle, her son Cameron and their colleagues as they delved through Scottish homes in search of exciting lots to sell at auction.
Thomson Roddick Callan is Scotland’s biggest auction group. Sybelle is the fourth generation of Thomsons in the business, which was founded by her great-grandfather nearly 150 years ago.
Interest in the regular sales held at Edinburgh Auction Centre is on the rise with the saleroom hosting around 30 auctions each year. These include the fortnightly Home Furnishing and Interiors auctions and specialist Antiques and Collectors’ sales.
