Edinburgh Canal Festival 2026 is on Saturday, June 20, with activities starting from 11am between Lochrin Basin and Fountainbridge Green.
There are music performances planned along with activities like canoe polo and model boats.
A spokesman said: “Every year Edinburgh Canal Festival brings people together to celebrate the waterways, green spaces and communities that make this part of the city feel alive.
“We’re trying something different this year by spreading the Festival across three separate summer events, the Festival Day on June 20, a picnic in Harrison Park on July 25 (12-3pm) and the raft race on August 22 (12-4).”
The spokesman said that an incredible mix of people make the festival possible and they include a dedicated team, volunteers, local businesses, community groups, charities, performers, artists and partners.
