ALDI advises the best times to shop in Edinburgh over next weekend.
May holidays in Edinburgh are always a bit confusing. Edinburgh took its second local holiday last Monday 18 May, but there is a UK Bank Holiday this weekend, and supermarket Aldi has shared with us the quietest times for shoppers to visit its Edinburgh stores.
Shoppers are advised that between 8am and 9am and 7pm and 10pm will be the quietest times to pick up their shopping.
Aldi which calls itself “Britain’s biggest discounter” will be open from 8am to 10pm on 22 and 23 May, before opening from 9am to 8pm on 24 May.
On the UK bank holiday Monday on 25 May Aldi stores will be open from 8am until 10pm, although customers are advised to check local store hours online for any variations.
Rachel Geary, Communications Director at Aldi UK, said: “The late May bank holiday is the perfect chance to enjoy great food, make the most of the longer days and spend quality time with friends and family.
“At Aldi, shoppers can find everything they need at unbeatable value, so they can focus on what really matters – enjoying the long weekend.”
