Hibs U19s head into the final day of their CAS Elite U19 League season with the title on the line.
Darren McGregor’s side will face Celtic at Barrowfield this afternoon, Friday 15 May; 3pm kick-off.
While facing Celtic in their final league match of the 2025/26 campaign, Hibs U19s will be battling against Rangers for league champions status.
The youngsters, who won the U18 league last season, must better Rangers’ result to lift the trophy – with the Light Blues simultaneously travelling to face St Mirren at the same time as Hibs visit Barrowfield.
With Rangers’ superior goal difference, they know a victory against the Buddies will see the league trophy return to Glasgow – though a Rangers draw and Hibs win, or Rangers loss and Hibs win/draw, would secure back-to-back titles.
Darren McGregor’s youngsters have won four of their last five league fixtures, with a captivating 4-3 victory over Hearts at Oriam last week ensuring the title race would go down to the wire.

Fifth-placed Celtic come into their penultimate league fixture secure in the knowledge that a leap up to fourth in the league standings is still possible. Two wins from two would draw them level on points with Hearts, though they currently have a lower goal difference than the Oriam outfit.
The young Celts have won five matches from 12 to date this season – with the Glasgow side bouncing back from a 2-0 derby defeat to Rangers last week by sealing a 4-2 victory over Kilmarnock on Monday (11 May) afternoon at Rugby Park.
Hibs most recent meeting with Celtic, just last month, had a thrilling climax as they snapped up all three points with a late breakaway winner.
