Livingston striker Tete Yengi is set to move on loan to a Japanese club for the rest of the season.
Talks have been under way in the past seven days and David Martindale, Livingston’s manager, admitted the 6ft 4in forward has been a big player for the club.
Yengi, aged 25, has scored 18 goals in 83 games for The Lions with two coming this season and Livingston will benefit from a six-figure sum if the Australian-born player does make the move to the J-League.
And Yengi’s older brother, Kusini, who has not been a regular for Aberdeen, but the 27-year-old has appeared for the Aussie national team and he could also be heading to the Far East, according to reports.
