An investigation is underway after the HSBC branch on Hanover Street was vandalised with paint thrown over the windows and brickwork.
Police were alerted to the incident at around 4.30am on Saturday, December 13.
The branch was closed to facilitate the investigation.
A police spokesperson said:”Around 4.30am on Saturday, 13 December, 2025, we received a report of vandalism to a premises in Hanover Street, Edinburgh.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
