City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club’s Holly Allfrey finished a highly creditable tenth on her debut representing Great Britain at World Championships in Pamplona, Spain.
Holly competed in the Girls FIG DMT 17-21 category in what was her first international competition for Team GB.
The Edinburgh trampolinist has, however, also competed for Scotland at the Scalabis Cup in Portugal.
ETC club secretary, Moira Jeffrey, said: “This was an amazing result for Holly against very stiff competition from around the world.”
Double mini trampoline (DMT) is an apparatus and discipline with trampoline gymnastics. Athletes perform a short run-up, execute a mounting skill on the slanted part of the mini-trampoline, a spotter of second skill on the flat part then dismount on to a landing mat.
