Police in East Lothian are seeking help to trace a couple in their 70s following reports of a Rottweiler style dog acting in a dangerous manner in the John Muir country park area of Dunbar, East Lothian.
The incident took place around 1pm on Sunday 16th November 2025, near to the River Tyne estuary.
A police spokesperson said: “We are keen to speak with anybody who was in the area at the time and may have witnesses this upsetting incident.”
“Officers particularly want to trace a male and female aged in their 70’s, with the female described as wearing a bright orange jacket and white woollen hat, walking a Rottweiler style dog.
“Please contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1153 of the 16th November 2025.”
