Police have charged three people following a protest against Labour’s proscription of Palestine Action.
Dozens of protestors attended a silent demonstration organised by Defend Our Juries outside Queen Elizabeth House in Sibbald Walk Edinburgh last Tuesday afternoon.
No arrests were made at the time, and the group spent around an hour at the scene.
However following an investigation officers have confirmed that two women and a man have now been charged with offences under the Terrorism Act.
A police spokesperson said: “Two women and a man have been charged in connection with offences under the Terrorism Act, following a planned protest at Queen Elizabeth House in Edinburgh on Tuesday, 18 November, 2025.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Since the proscription came into effect, more than 2000 people across the UK have been arrested under terror laws.
