Ten Hibs players have been selected for international duty during the November round of fixtures.
Grant Hanley – Scotland
The centre-back has been called up to represent Steve Clarke’s Scotland side for their crucial World Cup qualifiers with Greece and Denmark.
The Scots have already secured a World Cup play-off spot, however, top spot and automatic qualification is still very much within reach.
Scotland travel to Greece on Saturday, before hosting Denmark on Tuesday night. A draw or victory in Greece would set up a winner-takes-all clash with Denmark at Hampden Park.
Martin Boyle & Jack Iredale – Australia
Jack Iredale is back in the Socceroos squad and will be accompanied by Hibs teammate and international veteran, Martin Boyle.
The Socceroos have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup and are in the midst of their preparations for the finals next summer.
Boyle has 38 caps for Australia, whilst Jack Iredale could make his Socceroos debut this weekend.
Australia play Venezuela in Houston on Friday 14 November, before playing Colombia in New York on Tuesday 18 November.
Jamie McGrath – Republic of Ireland
Jamie McGrath has been named in Heimir Hallgrímsson’s Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers with Portugal and Hungary.
The creative midfielder is back in the Irish squad, having last featured for his national side in October 2024.
The Republic of Ireland host Portugal in Dublin (Thursday 13 November) before travelling to Budapest to play Hungary (Sunday 16 November).
Ireland are currently third in Group F, with four points after four points – one point behind Hungary, with Portugal top of the table.
Jordan Obita – Uganda
Jordan Obita is also on international duty representing Uganda for their upcoming friendly international with Chad (Saturday 15 November) and Morocco (Tuesday 18th November).
The Hibs full-back has featured six times for Uganda since switching his international allegiance last summer.
Rocky Bushiri – DR Congo
Rocky Bushiri helped DR Congo finish second in Group B of their Africa World Cup qualifiers, which meant they qualified for the play-offs.
DR Congo now face an away one-legged play-off tie with Cameroon on Thursday 13 November – the winner of the tie will play the winner of Gabon vs Nigeria in the African final on Sunday 16 November.
Junior Hoilett – Canada
Junior Hoilett has been named in Jesse Marsch’s 24-man Canada squad for their upcoming international friendlies.
The Reds host Ecuador in Toronto (Thursday 13 November) before travelling to play Venezuela in Florida (Tuesday 18 November).
Hoilett has 67 international caps for Canada and will be hoping to add to his collection over the November international break.
Miguel Chaiwa – Zambia
Miguel Chaiwa has been selected to represent Zambia for their upcoming international friendlies and will be eager to add to his 13 international caps.
Zambia play South Africa on Saturday 15 November and Burundi on Tuesday 10 November.
Logan Jimenez – Bermuda
Logan Jimenez has had an incredible start to his professional career after signing his first pro-deal in summer 2025.
He was part of the Men’s First Team pre-season training camp before featuring regularly for the Hibs Dev Squad and Academy.
His performances have caught the eye of his national team – and he has recently been called up to represent his national side, Bermuda for their FIFA World Cup Concacaf qualifiers.
Bermuda play Curaçao on Thursday 13 November, before playing Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday 19 November.
Joseph McGrath – Scotland U19
Academy youngster Joseph McGrath has once again been named in the Scotland U19 Squad for their UEFA EURO 2026 qualifiers.
Neil MacFarlane’s side head to Lithuania for their latest set of European Championship qualifiers.
The young Scots play Latvia, Lithuania and England all within the space of a week, starting on Wednesday 12 November.
