Three vehicles have been stolen overnight in the East Lothian area.
Police Scotland has issued the following advice to the public.
“Please keep your vehicles safe and secure by doing the following:
“Lock your vehicle.
“Park in a well-lit area, ideally with CCTV.
“Make sure you know how the security features of your vehicle work and set the car alarm/immobiliser if you have one.
“Keep your keys hidden and out of view of windows, perhaps keep them upstairs. If you have a keyless entry, store keys as far away as possible from the vehicle or in signal blocking pouches.
“Keep your doors and windows locked.
“Consider adding a tracking device if your vehicle doesn’t have one.
“If you see anyone / vehicles acting suspiciously call Police Scotland on 999 if an emergency or 101.”
