The council’s travel team issues a weekly list of roads in the capital where roadworks are planned.
The measures listed include parades and they may lead to road closures or diversions for traffic in Edinburgh. Drivers, pedestrians, wheelchair users and cyclists can expect some of these to cause disruption for the next week or so.
Some of the entries include these:
Silverknowes Road remains closed – and there is now no end date specified for the end of works to reintroduce vehicle traffic.
On 22 November there will be a march and rolling road closures from Lawnmarket all the way to Holyrod between 1pm and 3pm.
Gilmerton Road will be closed on 21 November for a bridge inspection.
Comiston View is closed for gas leak repairs with no end date specified.
Colinton Road will be closed at Tipperlinn Road from 17 to 26 November for Scottish Power works.
Bruntsfield Place will be closed on 23 November for network repairs by Virgin Media – there are temporary traffic lights.
Longstone Road is closed for repairs to a burst pipe.
Marshall Street is closed for carriageway repairs on 16 November.
There will be works on Duncan Street on 20 November to allow Openreach access to carriageway manholes.
