Hearts have generated turnover in excess of £24m in the latest financial year, thanks to participation in Europe and a strong commercial performance.
The income was boosted by donations from benefactors and the Foundation of Hearts.
A club statement said that the strong income position enabled further investment in the playing squad.
Backroom support teams also benefited, however the club had a net operating loss of £0.4m caused by a “poor on-pitch performance” and inflationary cost pressures.
Hearts said that their balance sheet remains healthy with net assets of £27.6m and the club added: “We are pleased to be able to submit a robust set of accounts for the financial year.”
