Get into the festive spirit at Edinburgh Open Workshop on 29 November with the Festive Makers Market in Leith.
This will be a showcase of the best local artists, makers, and designers. Hand-crafted clothing and jewellery, artwork, textiles, and unique homewares will be on display.
Meet the makers in person, pick up one-of-a-kind gifts, or commission bespoke creations.
Enjoy street food from Gringo Supper Club and A Cup Above, with hot chocolate, mulled wine, and festive treats on sale.
There are free workshops for children, including a build your own creativity station. There are also ornament and bunting activities, perfect to enjoy on the day or take home for later.
This year’s market also launches the Leith Creative Trail which is a week-long celebration of local creativity running from 29 November to 7 December.
On the trail explore markets, open studios, workshops, and pop-ups in Leith. Pick up a beautifully designed map and directory by Cat Gordon & Zoe Brown to guide you on your journey.
The Festive Makers Market takes place on 29 November from 10am to 4pm at Edinburgh Open Workshop in Leith.
The City of Edinburgh Council and the Fair Saturday Edinburgh Community Engagement Fund are supporting the event.
