Warren O’Hora admitted that the Hibs players need to do better after surrendering a two-goal lead against Falkirk last night.
After settling into the midweek match-up, goals from Martin Boyle and Jamie McGrath looked to have Hibs cruising towards victory.
However, Ross MacIver and Liam Henderson goals either side of half-time earned the hosts a point on home turf.
“It’s disappointing. We know we need to be better,” O’Hora told Hibs TV. “It’s a lack of might. Going 2-0 up and drawing the game two-all is never good.
“It doesn’t feel good for us players, obviously. We know what we need to work on. I thought we played some good stuff in the first half.
“To be fair to Falkirk, they came out and probably started the game really well. Once we got a hold of it, going 2-0 up was a positive for us. Conceding the goal right before half-time is simply not good enough from us. The goal from the corner is hard to take as well.
“It’s very raw right now, but ultimately we know we need to be better.”
Next up for Hibs are two away trips to face Celtic and Hearts, respectively, before the international break.
O’Hora is keen to reflect on this match in the same manner as any other fixture ahead of these matches.
“We’ll approach them like we do all the time. We always look for a way to improve. We look at the positives and definitely try and work on the negatives.
“Obviously it two massive games coming up, two massive away games as well.
“We know what it means, those games, especially the Hearts away one. We’ll be looking to put this right, no doubt about it.
“We’ve got some time now on the grass, to stick together as a group and we’ll keep working hard.”
