The advice during the amber weather warning is not to travel unless necessary but there were many people out and about on Monday.
Edinburgh Castle and Princes Street Gardens are closed today, and you are advised to check on any cancellations to Fringe shows before setting out. Pleasance has said it is closed until 6pm on Monday.
