Hibs head coach David Gray has provided an update on the possible signings of Nectar Triantis and Rocky Bushiri.
Both played important roles in Hibs third place finish last season and fans are keen to see them back in the team for this season.
Triantis remains a Sunderland player whilst Bushiri is a free agent.
Speaking at yesterday’s Ron Gordon Football Festival at the Club’s Training Centre, he told Sky Sports : “He Triantis) is another one who had a fantastic season. You seen how much he improved last year, playing week-in, week out.
“His parent club have just got promoted to the Premier League and there are conversations going on.
“Clearly he was a big part of what we done last year and it is a position that we are going to need to fill.
“There is conversations going on there that are positive at the minute but you always need to be proactive and making sure that you are trying to get your work in as early as you can. “
On Bushiri he added: “Rocky is someone who clearly had a fantastic season last year.
“His season got prolonged because he had to go away with his national team but positive talks are happening all the time.
“We are trying to get something done there and we’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out in the next few days.”
