Police are seeking help from the public to trace a 21 year old woman reported missing from the Morningside area last month.
Qazi Safiyyah Mehmood was reported missing on Wednesday 30th April 2025.
The last confirmed CCTV sighting was around 1110 hours that day on Myreside Road near to the The Pavillion.
She is known to frequent the Edinburgh, Manchester, London and Argyle and Bute areas.
She is described as 5ft 2, medium build with long black hair and Bangladeshi ethnicity. She was last known to be wearing a black puffer jacket, black leggings, black trainers and black handbag.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We would ask anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to get in touch. Also, for Qazi herself to contact family, friends or Police Scotland.
“Anyone with information about Qazi’s whereabouts should call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3197 of 30/04/25.”
