The Edinburgh Marathon Festival kicks off this weekend, with road closures starting today, Friday 23rd May and continuing through Sunday 25th May.
These closures will affect various parts of Edinburgh and East Lothian to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
Key Road Closures:
Friday, 23 May (from 5:00 PM): Holyrood Gait and Horse Wynd will be closed.
Saturday, 24 May (6:00 AM – 11:00 AM): Closures include Holyrood Park Road, Duddingston Low Road, and surrounding areas.
Saturday, 24 May (5:00 PM) to Sunday, 25 May (1:00 PM): Potterrow, Lothian Street, Teviot Place, and adjacent streets will be closed.
Sunday, 25 May (various times): Multiple closures across the city, including Lauriston Place, George IV Bridge, The Mound, and parts of East Lothian.
Parking restrictions will be enforced in affected areas. Illegally parked vehicles may be fined or towed.
