There are new all day food menus at Horizons and The Waterfront Bar, at Pettycur Bay Holiday Park, and The Bay Hotel in Kinghorn.

Head Chef, James McKay, will use a range of local suppliers, including David Lowrie Fish Merchants from Pittenweem, John Henderson Butchers from Glenrothes, Stuart’s Bakery & Butchers in Methil, & Fife Creamery from Kirkcaldy. The menu contains a “From the Grill” section, a choice of starters and desserts, and James’ specially selected, “Horizons Favourites.”

These favourites include Slow Braised Boneless Pork Belly Ribs, Stir fry Chicken and Mushroom, Curry of the Day, lentil and vegetable Dhal, Fresh East Neuk Haddock, Lasagne and Chef’s Own Steak Pie.

Grill dishes available include the famous Bay Beef Burger, together with a Crusted Fillet of Trout with warm potato salad, rocket and balsamic glaze.  Customers can also enjoy delicious flat iron and ribeye steaks.

Horizons is well known for its delicious sweets, and James has assembled a tempting selection. Choose from Trio of Chocolate Mousse with Grand Marnier poached oranges, Black Forrest & Coconut Tart, Warm Apple Pie with Chantilly Cream, Fresh Fruit Sorbet, and Cheesecake of the Moment.

The new all day menu contains a section entitled free from, featuring a choice of starters, main courses and grill dishes which are gluten free versions of the restaurant’s most popular dishes such as the East Neuk Haddock & chips, the famous Bay Burger, Mackerel Pate, and the Curry of the Day.

There are other dishes on the menu suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and also dairy free options.
