Freya, a 9-month-old, Belgian Malinois cross is ready to find her forever home.
This super sweet girl has come from a background where she hasn’t experienced much of normal everyday life. The Dogs Trust say she’s looking for a quiet home, with owners who have previously owned dogs. Freya would need people who like to be active. She is happy to live with children aged 14 and above, and would prefer to be the only pet in the home with access to an enclosed garden to play in and burn off her energy.
Freya loves being around her people and will want to curl up beside you on the sofa. She needs new owners who can be home for most of the day to help her settle in to her new routine. Freya can be overwhelmed in new environments, so will need to go for walks in quieter places, and gradually build her confidence in going out and about and exploring the world.
Freya is very smart and is already making good progress with basic commands. She aims to please and is a total foodie. Freya is still learning and would like her new family to enjoy training and allow her the patience to adapt to home life at a gradual pace.
