Allanwater Homes has announced that is supporting the community by sponsoring two local sporting organisations once more.
Along with Tulliallan Golf Club, the housebuilder will support to women’s rugby team, the Hillfoots Vixens, who are part of Hillfoots RFC, based in Tillicoultry.
Bridge of Allan based Allanwater Homes has, in the past, sponsored other local sporting organisations across the area, including Alloa Saints FC, providing them with strips and branded backpacks.
Only founded in September 2023, the Hillfoots Vixens are Hillfoots RFC’s first women’s team. With six women turning up to attend their very first training session, the club now has over thirty five women registered for the women’s team, and has recently started a Junior Vixens section for girls aged 12+.
The Vixens’ now have their first playing kit thanks to the sponsorship deal.
The club is due to play away at Lismore on 26 May and its final game before the summer is at home on 9 June.
So far all games the Vixens have played have been friendlies with local teams. As Christina Swinton, who officially launched the club with Head Coach Jordan Usher, explained, the Club is now hoping to enter the SRU Caledonian Midlands League 2 after the summer.
“Yes, we have ambitions here at The Vixens, and hope to move to proper league games in the next few months. As a team it was really important to us to have local businesses on our strip, and it’s great to have a mix of organisations, including Allanwater Homes, represented when we play. We really appreciate the support.”
“The women’s team as a whole has brought a new lease of life to our club, with a huge new group of members getting involved in volunteering and social events,” she added.
“We had our first Vixens win at home on 24th March against the Galashiels Vixens, just six months after our very first training session, so it was incredible to see how far our team had come in such a short space of time.”
At Tulliallan Golf Club, one of the Hillfoots most established and popular golf clubs, Allanwater Homes is sponsoring hole five and in return, the Club is now running a 30” TV ad for Allanwater Homes on its two screens within the clubhouse.

Hillfoots RFC is to hold its annual dinner dance, including awards ceremony, on Saturday 27th April at the Devonvale Hall in Tillicoultry.
