The East of Scotland 18 and under girls tennis team, sponsored by VMH Solicitors, have returned in triumph from the 2024 LTA County Cup competition having won Group 4b at Taunton.
The girls’ team, coached by Darren Linton and Kirsty Robertson, posted wins over all three rivals – Northamptonshire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
Meanwhile, the boys team, competing in Group 3A at Exeter, were denied promotion in their final match when edged out by South Wales.
Earlier the East boys had overcome Buckinghamshire and Devon.
Both girls and boys events comprised a total of 11 groups each featuring four teams with matches played over a weekend.
