Hibs are looking to trial an audio description commentary service for the upcoming season.

The club have use of a small number of headsets for supporters with a visual impairment to make use of the commentary, with the aim of trialling at the first league match of the season against Motherwell.

If anyone is interested in taking part in the trial over the first three home league matchesĀ they shouldĀ contact Hibernian Disability Liaison Access Officer Ann Brown ā€“ abrown@hibernianfc.co.uk.

She said: ā€œWe are keen to understand the level of demand for a service like this, so we would like to hear from any supporter who would be interested in taking part in the trial.

ā€œWe are currently working out the logistics in terms of where people would be located for the trial ā€“ our initial plan is to seat everyone together so we can respond quickly to any issues with the technology and then consult with supporters on remaining in their own seat after the trial.

ā€œHopefully if the trial goes well the service would be a strong addition to what we can offer our supporters on a matchday.ā€
